Attorney Nati Agmon, lawyer at Shibolet & Co.'s capital markets group, was interviewed as an expert in the fields of banking and capital markets in respect to a verdict by Haifa's Magistrate's Court . The verdict committed a bank to compensate a client who had lost NIS 800,000 in future financial insturments claiming that bank officials did not prevent him from carrying out the risky investment.

Attorney Agmon explains that this precedent is an opening for bank clients to excuse themselves from losses by throwing the blame on banks for lack of prevention. Moreover, this can cause a new norm in which banks are now lInked to the clients' business and losses.
