According to the semi-annual Israeli Venture Capital Survey conducted by Shibolet & Co. in cooperation with Fenwick & West LLP, the industry experienced a steep decrease in the number of venture capital investments in early stage companies. "This is an evident yet very problematic finding," says senior partner Lior Aviram, head of Shibolet & Co.'s high-tech practice. Lior Aviram projects the phenomenon on the high risk perceived by the investors in today's market and the lack of funds for investments.
