Roy Kubovsky Represented the Israel Bar Association 16/07/2009
The Israel Bar Association requested to join as amicus curiae, an appeal procedure, filed on a decision of the Magistrate's Court of Tel Aviv, that imposed costs in favor of the State on one of the parties whose attorney did not appear in court for a hearing, due to its Military service and although he filed an application with consent to postpone the hearing date a head of time.
Tel Aviv's District court accepted the appeal and cancelled the decision and stated that there was no reason to impose costs on the applicant. Associating the Israel Bar Association to the procedure contributed to the decision. Roy Kubovsky, Attorney at Shibolet & Co.'s litigation practice group voluntarily represented the Israel Bar Association.
