Shibolet & Co. Handles Major Solar Energy Aquisition, First of its Kind in Israel

Shibolet & Co. represented Arava Power Company, a solar energy company, in its efforts to erect photovoltaic solar power plants in the southern part of Israel, in its aquisition by Siemens. Siemens purchased 40 percent of Arava Power for USD 15 million, in what is considered to be the largest investment in a solar energy company in Israel. The matter was handled by senior partners Richard Roberts and Lior Aviram, and by partner Orit Marom-Albek, head of the Environment, Cleantech and Climate Change group at Shibolet & Co.
