Partner Alon Ziv specializes in the fields of Infrastructure, Project Finance and Energy.

Practice Focus

Alon has practiced both as an Israeli and U.S. finance and project finance lawyer, thus bringing to the team extensive local and international knowledge and experience.

Before joining the firm Alon worked for a decade as a senior banking and project finance attorney in leading global law firms in New York City, and for eight more years as a partner in another of Israel’s distinguished law firms, advising top international companies and financiers on a variety of sophisticated, high-profile, multi-billion USD transactions. This, together with his extensive ties to global players in the finance and project development world, enables him to offer clients unique legal knowledge and skills.

Alon currently represents both lenders and sponsors/borrowers in all major financing and lending transactions, including complex cross-border financings, in a large variety of industries. Alon also advises developers, sponsors and financiers on the largest, most prominent deals undertaken in Israel to date, in all infrastructure sectors, including power generation, desalination, transportation, defense and oil & gas.

Alon is consistently ranked by international directories as a leading banking and project finance lawyer and is recognized by his clients and colleagues as a highly skilled and professional practitioner. Alon is a graduate of Columbia University Law School (Kent Scholar, Summa cum Laude) and Tel Aviv University Law School (Magna cum Laude) and a former clerk in the Israeli Supreme Court in Jerusalem.
