Adv. Joseph Benkel and Adv. Nirit Avtalion represented Israel Ports Developments & Assets Company Ltd. (“IPC”), a governmental corporation- the landlord of all existing and future Israel ports), in an action brought against it and against IRM Offshore and Marine (the manufacturer of the Fndrim systems installed in the Carmel port), by Arenson to the District Court in Haifa, in the amount of NIS 10M, regarding defects found in the manufacture of the Fndrim.

In a recent decision, the Haifa District Court dismissed the claim against IPC, accepting in their entirety all arguments raised on behalf of IPC and ordered court costs of over NIS 100K in favor of IPC.
