Lior leads our firm’s immigration practice (which includes entry into Israel, relocation, and the employment of foreign employees).
Over more than six years, Lior has acquired extensive knowledge and experience in employment practices. Lior has experience with many types of foreign employees in Israel, including in matters of relocation, long-term employment of ex-pats, obtainment of work permits and work visas, different entry and stays arrangements, employment of asylum-seekers and other types of immigrant, coordinating and representing in various proceedings vis-à-vis regulators and state authorities related to entry into Israel and employment of foreigners, as well as related fields.
Lior has recorded impressive achievements in handling immigration, status, and work visa cases, including unique and complex issues and large-scale projects – all on very short schedules.
In addition, Lior provides ongoing support and comprehensive legal advice in labor and employment laws, on various issues, including legal advice regarding recruitment procedures, policies, and work procedures (including policies originated abroad and adapting them to Israeli law). Also, employment contracts for various types of employees, consulting agreements, accompaniment in termination proceedings (individual and collective), dealing with regulation relating to the employment of protected populations (women, reserve soldiers, foreigners, youth, people with disabilities), accompanying aspects of labor and employment law in the framework of M&A’s and investment transactions.
