The National Labor Court in Jerusalem ordered the full reversal of the judgment rendered against them in the lower instance, including the complete cancellation of the monetary compensation of NIS 600,000 imposed on them.
The proceedings originated in a NIS 5 million claim filed by a competing company, alleging misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of non-compete obligations, breach of fiduciary duties and good faith, inducement of breach of contract, and unjust enrichment. In the framework of the appeal, the court accepted our legal position regarding fundamental errors in the compensation ruling and the lack of subject-matter jurisdiction, with emphasis on the importance of protecting the employee’s freedom of occupation.
