Hagit is a partner in Shibolet’s Capital Markets Department. Hagit specializes in corporate law, securities law, and corporate finance, and regularly advises some of Israel’s most prominent and significant public companies.
Hagit has over 25 years of experience providing legal counsel to public companies, companies subject to reporting obligations to the Israel Securities Authority, shareholders, boards of directors, chief executive officers, and underwriting firms.
As part of her practice, Hagit advises on equity and debt financing transactions for companies, including through prospectus offerings, and provides ongoing counsel to boards of directors and board committees. In addition, she handles tender offers, compensation plans, option plans, internal enforcement programs, shareholders’ agreements, share purchase and sale transactions, as well as ongoing commercial matters.
Hagit also specializes in all aspects relating to shareholder activism and has extensive experience in a wide range of innovative and complex activism-related matters. She advises activist shareholders on activist campaigns and corporate takeovers.
Hagit has served as a teaching assistant at the Academic Center of Law and Business in Ramat Gan and at the College of Management Academic Studies, and she is a member of the Israel Bar Association’s Securities and Capital Markets Committee.
